Electric Customers To Receive Credit on October Bills

PWC electric customers will receive a billing credit on their October bills as part of the PWC Fuel Adjustment policy. Residential customers will receive a credit of $1.90 per 1000 kilowatt hours used while commercial customers will be credited $1.54 per 1000 kilowatt hours used.

The fuel adjustment offsets the impact of higher than budgeted purchased power costs related to higher fuel costs. When costs are higher than budgeted, the fuel adjustment charge is applied. When costs are lower than budgeted, customers receive a credit. Since the Fuel Adjustment policy was re-implemented in January 2003, this is the first month customers have received a credit.
