Fayetteville Public Works Commission electric
customers located on the western side of Fayetteville lost power
for less than 30 minutes Friday morning after a control switch
at a major point of delivery failed and burned. Approximately
19,000 customers lost power at 8:45 am and 95 percent had power
restored in 22 minutes. All services were restored within 29
minutes.
