Electric Usage Sets Record for Second Straight Day
July 27, 2005
For the second straight day, Fayetteville Public Works Commission recorded a record demand of 474.5 MWh (mega-watthours) on its electric system Wednesday. The demand exceeded the record set Tuesday of 460.9 MWh.
Overall, Wednesday's usage is 28 MWh higher than PWC's record demand prior to Tuesday. That record of 446.5 MWh was recorded on July 31, 2002.
