PWC Water Picked Best In NC

PWC's water and the employees who treat it, have been honored for their outstanding efforts in water treatment and safety, including having Fayetteville's water voted the Best Tasting in a state.

At the annual North Carolina American Water Works Association annual meeting, Fayetteville water entered by PWC won a taste contest when compared to other municipal water systems in the state. Our water operations also earned the NC AWWA’s Walter J. Courman Safety Award for our effective program and excellent safety record.

For the sixth straight year, PWC has also received the prestigious Environmental
Protection Agency (EPA) Director’s Award for our extra efforts in providing clean, safe drinking water.
