PWC's Keith Lynch Named an APPA Rising Star

PWC employee Keith Lynch has been named a Rising Star of Public Power by the American Public Power Association.

The 33-year old Contract Resources and Power Trading Manager is one of 60 public power employees highlighted in the APPA's September 2011 issue of Public Power magazine. These rising stars, all under the age of 40, represent different jobs and regions with diverse backgrounds and interests who are already making a mark in the public power industry.

When asked how the mission of public power should expand over the next 10-20 years, Lynch responded that community growth and investment should be a key focus. "The United States has a long history of infrastructure investment with the purpose to transport goods and data more efficiently. The energy industry is now the low-hanging fruit of efficient opportunities," he said. "Energy technologies should be the catalyst of job and infrastructure growth. I firmly believe municipalities should not only embrace these opportunities, we should be promoting and competing for them."
