PWC's Jeff Williams Receives Peer Award

PWC employee Jeff Williams received the Peer Award during the N.C. Pretreatment Conference in Asheville on Sept. 29, 2011. This award recognized Jeff’s outstanding effort, achievements, and contributions to the field of industrial pretreatment and the N.C. Pretreatment Consortium (NC-PC). Williams became the first PWC employee to receive this award.

Jeff’s commitment to PWC’s pretreatment program and the NC-PC earned him this award.  He plays a vital role in PWC’s pretreatment compliance program and has volunteered and helped with several NC-PC committees over the past several years. Jeff also volunteers at community events, where he can be seen handing out Fat Trappers and promoting PWC's Cease the Grease Program.

NC-PC is a non-profit organization representing over 140 pretreatment professionals from municipalities throughout the state of North Carolina. Since its inception in 1997, the NC-PC has grown to represent 120 of the state's 125 pretreatment programs. North Carolina's pretreatment programs cover 147 municipal wastewater treatment plants with a combined NPDES permitted flow of over 900 MGD, more than 90% of all municipal NPDES permitted flow in the state.
