Area Lights
Illuminate darkened areas around your home. Area lights are ideal for family recreational area safety. PWC will install and maintain your fixtures. Monthly charges will appear on your PWC statement. For information on Area Lights, contact Customer Service at 483-1382.

Medical Priority
If you’ve got life-sustaining medical equipment in your home which is dependent on electric and/or water service, sign up for the Medical Priority Program. Whenever possible, early advisement and priority restoration consideration is given to critical life-support households in the event of scheduled or emergency interruption of service. We require the customer and the customer’s physician to complete a Medical Priority Application. Contact customer service at 483-1382 for application.

Deposit Waiver Program
PWC has deposit waiver programs in place with the local military. This program is designed to waive the deposit for military personnel. Under this program, a soldier may apply for Utility Deposit Assistance through the Credit Union, (910-864-2232 or 910-396-8076), or the Pope Air Force Base Housing Office at 394-4867 and if accepted in the program, a deposit is waived.

Irrigation Meters
If you are installing a lawn irrigation system, consider adding an irrigation water meter to avoid the sewer costs. You will receive a detailed description about applying for the irrigation meter as well as permit and inspection requirements.

Public Watch Program
PWC created this program to assist customers who are elderly or have special needs. PWC works together with other organizations and service agencies to make sure program participants get the assistance they need. Meter readers and other field service personnel visit participants every month on their routes. PWC employees are able to answer questions, refer specific needs to the proper local agencies, and provide reassurance and assistance.
