SERVICE CHARGES
On Mar. 23, 2011, the PWC Board adopted revised deposits, fees, and charges. These new deposits, fees, and charges have been increased to keep up with the increasing cost of providing services and long-term system capital needs. The proper infrastructure needs to be in place to deliver safe, reliable water and wastewater services.
The new fees will be effective May 1, 2011 unless otherwise noted.
Deposits - Deposits for new residential customers who establish service in an individual
residence with no known electric, water or sewer history will be calculated based on 2 times the
monthly estimate of 1,200 kWh for electric, 5,000 gallons for water and 5,000 gallons for
wastewater at the applicable rates and charges in effect at the time the service is connected (eg.
Electric = 1,200 x 2 = 2,400 kWh x Applicable Rates and Charges)
Late Payment Fee - 5% or a minimum of $5
