Amended Notice of Public Hearing-System Development Fees
The Fayetteville Public Works Commission (PWC) will conduct a PUBLIC HEARING on System Development Fees and revisions to its Service Regulations and Charges on JULY 12, 2023, at 8:30 a.m. in the PWC Board Room, Administrative Offices, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, N.C. Persons who wish to be heard on the proposed fees and revisions to the Service Regulations and Charges may appear at the public hearing and/or submit written comments in advance of the hearing.
Persons desiring to speak at the public hearing must register in advance with the PWC Clerk. The PWC Clerk’s office is located in the PWC Administrative Offices, at 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, N.C., and is open during normal business hours from 8 A.M. to 5 P.M. Customers may register by giving their name and address in person, by fax at (910) 829-0207, by email at pwcboard@faypwc.com or immediately before the meeting in the PWC Board Room between 8:00 and 8:30 A.M.
Persons desiring to send written statements should submit comments using the form below or to PWC, Attention: PWC Clerk to the Board, PO Box 1089, Fayetteville, N.C. 28302 or email pwcboard@faypwc.com. Written comments must include the valid name, mailing address, and phone number of the submitting party and must be received by 5 P.M. Monday, July 10, 2023, for consideration by: (a) the preparer of the analysis on which the proposed System Development Fees were based, Raftelis Financial Consultants, Inc., for possible modification and revision of the analysis; and (b) the PWC Board as part of its public hearing prior to considering adoption of the analysis with any modifications or revisions and the proposed revised Service Regulations and Charges.
The proposed fees and revised Service Regulations and Charges have been submitted to the PWC Board and, once adopted, will be effective July 12, 2023. Copies of the proposed fees and written analysis and revised Service Regulations and Charges are available for public inspection at the office of the PWC Clerk, Administrative Offices, 955 Old Wilmington Road, Fayetteville, N.C., Monday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. to 5:00 P.M.
