Two PWC Employees Named “40 Under 40” 

Misty Manning, Water Resources Engineering Manager, and Thomas Covington, Senior Engineer in Electrical Engineering, were selected to the Fayetteville Observer’s Annual 40 Under 40 Class of 2022. Both Misty and Thomas are Fayetteville natives and have made significant contributions through their professional careers and community commitments.

Misty joined PWC in 2010 and was named as PWC’s first female engineering manager in 2020. Prior to being named the Water Resources Engineering Manager, she oversaw the design and construction of sewer and water extensions in western Fayetteville to provide service to more than 8,000 properties.  Read more about Misty

Thomas joined PWC in 2015 and is currently overseeing a major Electrical Engineering project in the area surrounding Cross Creek Mall. The purpose of the project is to ensure system redundancy, which will limit the frequency and time of potential outages in the vicinity.  Read more about Thomas

In addition to their day-to-day work responsibilities, both Thomas and Misty are active PWC Community Ambassadors and frequently represent PWC in Cumberland County.
