Lift Station Gets a Makeover

PWC’s Water Resources Facilities Maintenance team recently completed upgrading a lift station on Aviation Parkway that is operated and maintained by PWC. The team replaced the pumps, installed a new control panel, and integrated the station with a online platform for remote monitoring, improving reliability, and system visibility.

A sanitary sewer lift station is a facility that pumps wastewater (sewage) from a lower elevation to a higher elevation when gravity alone cannot move it through the sewer system. It is a critical part of PWC’s wastewater system. Upgrades like this demonstrate PWC’s commitment to providing reliable wastewater service to its customers and community.
