Public Records Request Form

Fayetteville Public Works Commission responds to any public records request in accordance with North Carolina law (see N.C.G.S. §132, “Public Records”). Please ensure that your request states with specificity important information that will assist us in identifying the responsive records, detailing the subject matter of the request, project names and addresses, and approximate dates or date ranges for the requested records.

Please note, not all records are “public” and subject to disclosure under North Carolina law. Likewise, certain records and/or information may be “confidential” and redacted from responsive records.

In the event Fayetteville PWC must use extensive time and resources to comply with a public records request, there may be additional charges to the requesting party.
