Inspections

• All new construction locations in the City and County must have an inspection performed and on file at the City of Fayetteville Inspection Department or County Electrical Inspections Department before electric service can be activated.
• When any work occurs inside a meterbase – to new or existing services – it must be inspected before power can be supplied.

Permits

• Demolition permits must be obtained from the City of Fayetteville Inspections Department or the County Electrical Inspections Department
• A copy of the demolition permit must be presented to the PWC Electric Construction Department (910) 223-4500 for review before electric lines can be removed from demolition location.  Permits can be e-mailed to Electrical Construction teresa.valdez@faypwc.com and bethany.walters@faypwc.com.
