Ronna Rowe Garrett Elected Chair of PWC Board of Commissioners

PWC announces the election of Ronna Rowe Garrett as Chair of the PWC Board of Commissioners for the 2026-2027 term. Garrett was voted Chair during the Board’s regular meeting on Wednesday, October 14, 2026. 

Garrett was appointed to the PWC Board of Commissioners by the Mayor & City Council in April 2021 and was reappointed in 2024. She previously served as Chair during the 2022-2023 term. Her election as Chair reflects her continued leadership and commitment to the utility and the region. 

Garrett brings more than 35 years of experience in federal human capital and business management, with extensive expertise in public policy, government reform, organizational leadership, and strategic planning. 

A graduate of Troy University, Garrett holds a master’s degree in Human Resource Management. She is also a graduate of the Fayetteville Institute for Community Leadership, the Greater Fayetteville Chamber’s Leadership Fayetteville program, the United Way Multi-Cultural Leadership Development Program, and the City of Fayetteville’s Citizen’s Academy. 

As Chair, Garrett will help guide the Board’s oversight of the fiduciary and regulatory obligations of the PWC Board of Commissioners.
