Entek for Electric Water Heaters
The Sensus Entek device for electric water heaters can help customers reduce their electric consumption during peak hours. This voluntary program is available to residential and small TOU customers. The program is designed to shift energy consumption during periods of high demand for electricity. On predicted peak demand days, PWC will engage the Entek devices to turn off 1-3 hours per event and up to six (6) times per month.
Customers will receive a one-time bill credit of $85 and will not be charged for the installation by a local licensed electrician.
