Procurement Recognized with Purchasing Award

For the second year in a row, the PWC Procurement Department has earned the North Carolina Association of Governmental Purchasing’s (NCAGP) Sustained Professional Purchasing Award.

PWC is one of just 16 agencies throughout North Carolina to receive this distinguished recognition. In order to be given this award, PWC had to demonstrate excellence in the following categories for calendar year 2023:

• technology
• minority outreach
• staff certification
• end-user training
• vendor training
• use of recycled products

Members of the Procurement Department accepted the award at the NCAGP Spring Conference Banquet in Cherokee, NC on March 6, 2024.
