PWC Named Industry of the Year by Greater Fayetteville Chamber
March 18, 2026
The Fayetteville Public Works Commission (PWC) has been named Industry of the Year by the Greater Fayetteville Chamber. This recognition is awarded to the industry that exemplifies best practices in community spirit, sustains success, and leads with community collaboration.
The award was presented during the Chamber’s 2026 Annual Awards, an event that brings together business leaders, elected officials, and community partners to celebrate organizations and individuals making a meaningful difference across Cumberland County and the surrounding area.
The Industry of the Year Award honors an organization whose work strengthens the local economy, supports community growth, and demonstrates excellence within its sector. PWC was selected for its continued commitment to delivering reliable electric, water, and wastewater services while supporting economic development and quality of life throughout the region.
“For more than 120 years, PWC has been proud to serve with excellence as the hometown utility for Fayetteville and surrounding communities,” Timothy Bryant, CEO/General Manager of Fayetteville PWC. “This recognition reflects the dedication of our employees and their commitment to serving our customers and community with professionalism, reliability, and care.”
As a public, not‑for‑profit utility, PWC provides essential services to more than 250,000 residents and businesses across Fayetteville, Cumberland County, and Fort Bragg. PWC is consistently recognized at the local, state, and national levels for reliability, customer service, operational excellence, and community involvement.
PWC thanks the Greater Fayetteville Chamber for this honor and remains committed to continuing to serve the community with safe, reliable, and affordable utility services- today and into the future.
