These events hosted or sponsored by PWC are for businesses currently doing business with or wanting to do business with PWC. Additionally, there are specialized events that target businesses who are small and local (SLS), and those certified as a Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (MWDBE).

At these events, you will have the opportunity to network with PWC staff and other business owners, attend relevant trainings, and find ways to do business with PWC and other local entities.

Powering Prosperity: A Small Business Resource Summit: Fayetteville Organizations Unite to Support Local Entrepreneurs


In a remarkable show of community support, the Fayetteville Public Works Commission Economic Inclusion Program (PWC – EI), Fayetteville, Cumberland County Economic Development Corporation (FCEDC), and Carolina Small Business Development Fund (CSBDF) have joined forces to present “Powering Prosperity: A Small Business Resource Summit.” This collaborative event aims to empower and equip small business owners with the essential tools and connections needed to thrive in today’s competitive market.

Scheduled for Tuesday, October 22, 2025, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM, the summit will take
place at the FCEDC office located at 201 Hay Street, Suite 401 – A, Fayetteville, NC, 28301.
The summit will feature presentations from three leading organizations:
• PWC’s Economic Inclusion Program will highlight its commitment to supporting Minority, Women, and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises (MWDBE) and Small Local Suppliers (SLS) through certification assistance, procurement opportunities, and vendor engagement.
• FCEDC will showcase its Can Do Performance Financing Program, which helps businesses access capital and prepare for growth.
• CSBDF will introduce its Ignite Program, offering funding and technical assistance to entrepreneurs across North Carolina.


This event is about creating real opportunities for small businesses to connect with resources, build relationships, and take actionable steps toward growth. Local entrepreneurs, community leaders, and business advocates are encouraged to attend and learn how these programs can support their journey.
